Cyber crime is more rampaging everywhere because of popularity of Internet access in modern society. In order to conduct effective cyber investigation against this emerging crime, National Taiwan Central Police University and Decision Group jointly develop new cyber investigation training program for crime investigators from law enforcement agencies and military intelligence around the world.

In this program, Decision Group will conduct practical training with powerful network forensic device – E-Detective to conduct cyber investigation by active and passive ways on wired and wireless network as well as telecom network at national level. In the mean time, senior cyber investigators with more than 10 year experience from Taiwan Cyber Investigation Unit will also join this program and deliver real case lesson to all attendees..

The purpose of this program is to let all attendees understand the nature of cyber crime through Internet and telecom network, and how to conduct cyber investigation effectively.

Government and law enforcement agencies are certainly nervous about the trend of this situation with the duty to maintain social stability and economic development. In some countries, government agencies have started to collect online information from target blogs, BBS, websites in order to understand civil opinions on what government has done. This information is a very important reference for administration, because it reflects different viewpoints from different social walks.
